The AFP Finance Center Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AFPFC MPC) conducted a series of courtesy visits from April 22 to 24, 2026, to further strengthen institutional partnerships with its stakeholders in Leyte.


On April 23, 2026, the AFPFC MPC Board of Directors (AFPFC MPC BoD) led by CAPT DANILO MEMBRERE PN (Ret) went to visit the 802nd Infantry “Peerless” Brigade, 8ID and were welcomed by LTC LEONIL ALEXIS E TAN (INF) PA, Operations Officer who represents BGen Pompeyo Jason M Almagro AFP, Commander.

On the same day, the Board of Directors were enthusiastically greeted by the Commander of the 8th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, COL RAMONITO C TABOY FS (GSC) PA.


Over 30 personnel under their command learned about the superior loan products and financial services of the Cooperative through an Information Drive at the Bayanihan Hall. Both units received audio visual equipment – a token of goodwill and gesture of the Cooperative’s commitment to uplifting the welfare of those in service.

Back in Tacloban, the Board of Directors also had engagements with two offices of our partner institutions.


Atty. Risty N. Sibay, the Regional Director of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Region 8, expressed his excitement to become a member-owner of the Cooperative. Atty. Sibay also expressed gratitude on behalf of their office for the very timely gift in the form of audio visual equipment. The visit to NAPOLCOM Region 8 was conducted on April 24, 2026.

FCSUPT ALDWIN M SALAZAR, DSC, Bureau of Fire Protection Region 8, Regional Director, warmly welcomed the Board of Directors on April 22, 2026. BFP Region 8 received equipment from the Cooperative to support their information dissemination especially during this ongoing season to encourage awareness on fire prevention.
