Iligan Satellite Office expands Cooperative reach in Northwestern Mindanao

*The AFP Finance Center Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AFPFC MPC) held an intimate ceremony at Door 3, Patria Property Leasing, Macapagal Avenue, Tubod, Iligan City on September 29, 2026.*

In yet another geographic expansion milestone, the AFP Finance Center Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AFPFC MPC) officially opened its Iligan Satellite Office on September 29, 2026 at Door 3, Patria Property Leasing, Macapagal Avenue, Tubod, Iligan City. This expansion brings the financial services of the Cooperative to its members in Iligan City. The Iligan office is the Cooperative’s 29th satellite office and 44th overall location nationwide.

AFPFC MPC Chairman of the Board, CAPT DANILO A MEMBRERE PN (Ret) and Guest of Honor BGEN BERNARDO TAQUEBAN PA, Brigade Commander, 2nd Mechanized Infantry "Magbalantay" Brigade cut the ceremonial ribbon officially opening the AFPFC MPC Iligan Satellite Office.

The AFPFC MPC Board of Directors, led by the Chairman, CAPT DANILO A MEMBRERE PN (Ret) together with the AFPFC MPC Management and Staff held an inauguration on the new location in the presence of valued stakeholders and partner institutions, including BGEN BERNARDO TAQUEBAN PA, Brigade Commander, 2nd Mechanized Infantry "Magbalantay" Brigade, who is also the Guest of Honor and Speaker; LTC MYRVIN GARGAR CE (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 503rd Combat Engineering Battalion, VET WEVINO E PENDANG, District President, Iligan City Veterans Foundation of the Philippines.

AFPFC MPC Chairman of the Board CAPT DANILO A MEMBRERE PN (Ret) highlighted the importance of expanding Cooperative presence. He remarks, “Everything we do remains anchored in our core promise: Bringing Better Benefits — to where our Kamay-Ari are”.

Guest of Honor, BGEN BERNARDO TAQUEBAN PA, Brigade Commander, 2nd Mechanized Infantry "Magbalantay" Brigade, expressed excitement at the massive potential for financial development and security that the Cooperative will bring to the troops under his command, stationed in Iligan and Northwestern Mindanao. “The innovative services of AFPFC MPC hold great promise in strengthening the financial foundation of uniformed personnel in Iligan and Lanao del Norte,” BGEN TAQUEBAN adds.
