Over 120 Kamay-ari from Leyte and Samar participated in the activity that was divided into 2 parts. First, a hands-on experience for the participants on manufacturing the dishwashing liquid and fabric conditioner solutions products. Then, followed by an interactive discussion on business practices in selling the products they made.

Mr. Jude Adornado of the City Cooperative Development and Livelihood Assistance Office helmed a participant-led discussion on good business practices and methods in selling the products made during the seminar.

Each participant took home raw materials and packaging enough to make 10 liters of Dishwashing Liquid and Fabric Conditioner, to help our members explore an alternative source of income.

Livelihood seminars are part of the Cooperative’s ongoing effort to promote meaningful social change in its partner communities and will pursue further initiatives in the near future.
