In celebration of February as the month of love, the AFP Finance Center Multipurpose Cooperative (AFPFC MPC) donated a total of 155 groceries to the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan (TWH) in Cainta, Rizal on February 12, 2025, through its Daloy Pagibig Outreach Program.

Demonstrating AFPFC MPC’s commitment to serving vulnerable sectors, the Daloy Pagibig Outreach Program aims to extend kindness and inclusivity to underprivileged communities through donations of gift packages.

The donated gift packages were received with delight by more than 150 persons with disabilities (PWDs) of Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, including those coming from different units of the center, such as woodcraft, metalwork, medicine repackaging, logistics, and administration.

The provided goods will help ease the day-to-day expenses of the PWDs working in the organization, shared one representative from TWH’s public affairs division. “[Donating groceries] really does help, because these are basic goods that our PWDs will use every day,” she said in Filipino. “It frees up the budget for other things, like their kids’ tuition fees.”

Tahanang Walang Hagdanan is a non-profit organization that aims to uplift the lives of PWDs. As a rehabilitation and skills training center with workshops, it seeks to capacitate PWDs as productive and self-reliant members of society.
Continuing to provide donations for meaningful change for its partners, the Cooperative plans to follow the Daloy Pagibig Outreach Program with a series of visits to other marginalized communities.
