AFPFC MPC donates brand-new ambulance to SPPF

The AFP Finance Center Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AFPFC MPC) donated a brand-new ambulance to the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF) during a ceremonial turnover ceremony on August 6, 2025 at the SPPF Grounds in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.

The donation was formally received by CCINSP Abel DR Ciruela, MSCA, SPPF Acting Superintendent as he expressed his gratitude for the immediate help the ambulance would provide to SPPF in their efforts to address critical emergencies within the community.

Attended by the AFPFC MPC Members of the Board and SPPF leadership, the ribbon-cutting ceremony also included the invocation and blessing of the newly-donated ambulance.

After the ceremony, the AFPFC MPC Board of Directors were presented with a painting prepared by the PDLs of SPPF as a token of appreciation. 

As part of AFPFC MPC’s partner-based community development initiatives, the fully equipped ambulance is set to enhance the SPPF’s emergency and disaster response capabilities.
