AFPFC MPC Supports 2 Cooperatives through the Koop Kapatid Program

On September 26, 2024, the AFP Finance Center Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AFPFC MPC) formalized partnerships with the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Consumers Cooperative and Riverside Consumers Cooperative by signing a Memorandum of Agreement for the Koop Kapatid Program.
Championing cooperation among cooperatives, the Koop Kapatid Program established by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) aims to nurture, develop, and advance emerging cooperatives through partnerships and interventions.
Through these partnerships, AFPFC MPC as the Partner Cooperative, will provide technical assistance, training, and capacity-building activities for the growth, development, and sustainability of the Beneficiary Cooperatives.
This united effort by the AFPFC MPC, QCPD Consumers Cooperative, and Riverside Consumers Cooperative is a testament to a collective commitment to build a stronger and more sustainable cooperative community.
Present during the ceremony were Mr. Pedro T. Defensor Jr, CDA-NCR Director, Mr. Arnikan Abueva, Acting Head, Dev't Section of Quezon City Small Business and Cooperatives Dev't and Promotions Office, the Members of the Board and Officers of QCPD Consumers Cooperative headed by its Chairman, PBGen Crizaldo O Nieves (Ret), and the officers of Riverside Consumers Cooperative led by its Vice-Chairman, Mr. Vhernard Basas.
